Mr Zesheng Chen is a PhD student in the NanoEngineering group. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in automation from Zhejiang University in 2022 and an MPhil in engineering from Cambridge University in 2023. As an undergraduate, he developed and optimized a PCB-based digital microfluidic system in his sophomore year (2020). Later, he began studying the motion patterns of bombyx mori using computer vision methods in his junior year (2021). His MPhil in the NanoEngineering group was on electrically tunable FPI arrays. His research focuses on tunable optoelectronic devices
He is a member of Corpus Christi College.
