Piston Gradient Fractionator

The combination of the gradient master and the piston gradient fractionator offer a quantum leap in reproducibility and resolution. It provides:

  • A visible light scattering band visualisation system for particles as small as viruses and ribosomes. 
  • >99% accuracy and reproducibility in piston movement with readout to 0. 01 mm.
  • Programmable fractionation and rinsing.
  • Rinse and air pumps to clean sample tubing after each fraction.
  • A patented trumpet tip™ piston that gradually compresses thin bands of particles into vertical columns prior to capture.

Freeze Dryer

Model: Telstar LyoQuest

The LyoQuest laboratory freeze dryer is designed to be a multipurpose unit, with an 8.7 kg condenser capacity. On a functional level, cooling management ensures optimum performance. It offers flexible use with a touch screen user interface. It includes a double stage vacuum pump with gas ballast and safety valve that enables the pump to be isolated from the system, so avoiding oil backstreaming. It also includes a refrigerating system, cascade system and coil type condenser. The system includes two hermetic compressors with cascade mounting with suitable safety devices. The control unit has a digital display and friendly user touch screen.

Microfluidizer – Other LMs

Model: M-110P

The M110P-30K is a high shear bench-top fluid processor without compressed air or hydraulic cooling water, running on a standard 120-volt, 20-amp, single-phase power outlet. The Microfluidizer produces stable nanodispersions and nanoemulsions, cell disruption (E. coli, yeast), and micro/nanoencapsulation in polymers, liposomes and oils.
