About
Dr Woo Young Kim is an associate professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Jeju National University, Republic of Korea. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2011 and carried out postdoctoral research at KAIST and Seoul National University before joining Jeju National University in 2017. His research interests include graphene and two-dimensional (2D) materials, flexible electronics, self-powered sensors, ferroelectric materials and sustainable electronics. He is currently a visiting academic at the Cambridge Graphene Centre, University of Cambridge in the Nanomaterials and Spectroscopy group, where his research focuses on graphene processing and integration for electronic, optoelectronic and sensing applications.
