Dr Yury Alaverdyan is leading the technical research operations. He is a Leader for CGC Cleanrooms and oversees all of the CGC Facilities. He is frequently involved in projects with other departments or Universities. He designs and supervises construction of large facilities, ISO5/6 class cleanrooms and their infrastructure, such as gas delivery, gas detection, gas abatement and safety systems.
Yury received his PhD in condensed matter physics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. His research expertise is in plasmonics, nano-optics and nanofabrication. He is involved in R&D projects developing nanomaterials and micro-technologies for optical sensing and light-harvesting applications.
