Prof. Yang Wang joined the NanoEngineering group as a Visiting Scholar in 2025. He is a Professor in the College of Information and Electrical Engineering at China Agricultural University, China, where he leads the Young Scientist Innovation Team for Green Energy & Smart Agri/Aquaculture. He received his PhD in system engineering from Technical University of Munich, Germany. His research focuses on agri/aquacultural environment intelligent monitoring, modelling and prediction, agricultural crop and fish growth modelling, and green energy applications in facility agri/aquaculture. In particular, he investigates the relationship between agricultural crop/fish growth and environment. 

He is a visiting By-Fellow of Churchill College.
